As we go through the process of our pastoral search, you can follow the search process phases here. The elders will communicate regularly with the congregation about the process. Phase One

Search Committee Established
Pastoral Search Committee is established and commissioned by Elders to organize and start vetting.
Phase Two
December
Position Posted
Lead Pastor’s profile is posted on our First Friends website and national staffing websites.
Phase Three
January & February
Accepting Applications
Pastoral Search committee is receiving and evaluating resumes.
Phase Four
March
Narrowing Down Applicants
A recommendation from the search committee of 3-4 candidates will be made to the Elders for their continued vetting. The candidates will come to campus for interviews and visit the church and community.
Phase Five
April
Guest Preaching
The candidates or candidate will preach on Sunday and meet with various constituent groups.
Phase Six
May
Voting
Congregational meeting and vote for the next Lead Pastor on May 16th at 6:30pm.
