January
1.2–6 – Passion Conference
1.5–6 – Youth Up All Night
January 5–6. $40. Invite a friend! Info packets available in the youth rooms.
1.7 – Guest Lunch
Sunday, January 7, 12–1:30pm, in L-42. If you are new to our church in the last year, you are invited to join us for a meet-and-greet luncheon! Please register online or at the promo table in the hallway.
1.10 – Wednesday Night Youth Group Starts Back Up
Wednesday Night Youth resumes for High School and Middle School 1.10.24, 6:30–8:30pm. Invite a friend!
1.14 – Equip Groups Start
Visit our online directory to find a group today!
1.15 – The Well Starts Back Up
Mondays at 6:30pm in L41-42. Join other college-aged young adults from around the area for a time of building Christ-like community.
1.17 – Pastor’s Class/Jeremiah Club Starts
This semester’s Pastors Class: Seasons for the Soul where we will focus on prayer will run January 17- February 28, 7–8:15pm. Jeremiah’s Club for children birth- 5th grade will also start back up this day.
1.27 – Men’s Breakfast
8:30-10am in E-111 come for fellowship, encouragement, and good food. Catered by Bob Evans. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
1.28 – Premarital Class Starts
“Before You Say I Do” will run Sundays, January 14–February 4, 12pm–1:30pm. Lunch provided. This class will help engaged couples prepare for marriage. For more information, email Shawn at syost@firstfriends.org.

FYP exists to gather adults ages 25-45 in a meaningful space to form connections and glorify God together with the purpose of discipling, empowering and unleashing them back into the communities God has placed them in. Bring a snack to share! (Chips & salsa, crackers, veggies, fruit, etc.) Childcare provided, please REGISTER ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
February
2.2–4 – Middle School Winter Blast
2.4 – Membership Class Starts
If you are interested in becoming a member of First Friends Church, this class is a requirement. We will meet on Sundays in the month of February and explore what it means to be part of First Friends Church and the body of Christ. Please call Nancy to register for this class @330-966-2800 ext 224. or npetroff@firstfriends.org.
2.10 – Adoptive, Foster, Kinship Mother’s Breakfast
The Second Saturday of Every Month: February 10, March 9, April 13, and May 11
9:30-noon in E-102. Come connect with other moms who understand to receive encouragement, education, and hope for your journey. Breakfast is provided. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
2.14 – Ash Wednesday Service
6:00–7:00pm, in L-42, 43. Come for a time of prayer, reflection, and worship. Children’s programming for birth–5th grade, youth are welcome to attend. There will be no Pastor’s Class that night. Youth will still meet 7–8:30pm.
2.19 – President’s Day Open Gym
10–11:30am for kids and their families. Come and experience the fun and enjoy some fellowship with other families! Coffee provided for parents.
2.23–25 – Marriage Retreat
Join us at the Twinsburg Garden Inn for the First Friends Marriage Retreat where we will focus on building a marriage that is resilient through every season of life. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

3.10 – S.H.A.P.E. Class Starts
Author Erik Rees helps you discover God’s unique purpose for your life based on the way God has shaped you. In this class you will uncover your unique Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences. This study will show you how to unlock your potential, find your spiritual goal, and explore God’s plan for your life.
3.11 – Baptism Class
Call the church to sign up for baptism on March 31. This one-time class is a requirement prior to baptism.
3.13 – Pastor’s Class Starts
3.15 – Drawing Class Art Exhibit
3.16 – Women of Influence Coffee
10am–noon, come and meet and listen to Debbie Noble, Executive Pastor of Alliance Friends, share her insights about becoming women of faith influence. Continental breakfast provided. Sign-ups coming soon.
