Children's Ministry

The First Friends Children’s Ministry exists to support busy moms, dads, and caregivers by providing engaging experiences specifically designed to help kids come to know Jesus and grow in their faith.

Our goal is to help guide your kids – and your family – as you develop a lifelong relationship with God.

Whether you have a newborn baby or a 5th grader, we have something for your child.

Greenhouse 242 and The Warehouse – where middle and high schoolers can find community, discover purpose, and grow in their faith.

During these critical transitional years, teens and preteens will enjoy Christ-centered community where they can find confidence in their identity and purpose through Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions About First Friends

: We are a blend of contemporary with some traditional hymns mixed in. We have a time of worship, listening to a sermon, and response. There are people available to pray with you.
: We have identical worship services Sunday mornings at 9:00am and 10:30am. You can join us in-person or online.
: We have a large parking lot available at 5455 Market Ave N in Canton. When you visit, be sure to park by the Main Entrance near the large overhang.
: If you’re joining us in-person, you’ll find that dress is varied at First Friends. We believe you shouldn’t have to dress a certain way to be welcomed and loved in church.
: Stop by the Children’s Welcome Desk before either worship service. Learn more on the Children’s Ministry page. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early to allow adequate time to get them checked in before the service.
: Equip Groups are a great place to meet others in a smaller setting as you gather together to learn more about applying Biblical truths to everyday life. With a wide variety to choose from, you’re sure to find the right fit for you.

Authenticity Makes a Difference

I’ve grown up going to FFC, and have continued to come to the church and grow in my walk with Jesus despite being in college where I’ve been presented with other church opportunities. When I was invited to join the worship team in high school, I couldn’t have imagined how God was going to use it to transform my life and to meet some of the best mentors I’ve ever had. I’ve watched many friends over the years from school come to the sports programs when they had nowhere else healthy to go, and begin to find that they had a community and a God who loved them.
