Today’s Message from Nathanael Fawcett, Lead Pastor
Upside Down–Palm Sunday
Worthy: Mark 14:3–11, John 12:1–8
From a human perspective everything about the gospel is the opposite of what it should be. The first become the last and the last become the first. A king sacrifices himself for his people, rather than demanding that his subjects die to advance his purposes. Those who try to save their lives will lose them, while those who lose their lives for the sake of the King will save them.
This Holy Week we remember and celebrate the upside down Kingdom of God, in which broken, sinful, spiritually dead people are given new life through the cross of Jesus.
