Today’s Message from Zeke Yost, College & Young Adult Director
By Faith
Hebrews 11:1–2, 7–12
Today we’ll dive into Hebrews 11 to look at those who have gone before us who walked faithfully with God and held onto the faith through their struggles. The author of the letter writes to Jewish Christians who were being persecuted and tempted to turn back to old practices of sacrifice and worship to encourage them to persevere in the new covenant that Jesus brought into being. In a similar way, it is important to remember who God is and what He has done so that we can walk confidently into our future and persevere through trial. Because when all is said and done, the Christian life is lived by faith.
