As a middle school student, nurturing your spiritual life can feel challenging when you feel disconnected or alone. Greenhouse242 provides a warm, supportive community for you to learn and grow in your relationship with Jesus alongside peers.

Why “242”? Acts 2:42 helps guide how we grow disciples. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

Greenhouse242 exists to partner with families to help middle school students grow into disciples of Jesus who help others grow in Jesus.

I haven’t always gone to First Friends Church, I attended my first time when I was going into sixth grade. I was very nervous coming into a new group, but after getting comfortable being myself, thanks to all the amazing people, I built so many strong friendships. I always look forward to coming to our youth group to build my faith; Lucas Shroades has helped so much in that, through bible studies, Wednesday nights, and Sunday mornings. The First Friends youth group has truly helped me build awesome friendships and build my faith, I’m so thankful to be a part of it.

As a teen, life’s biggest questions about identity, belonging, and purpose weigh heavy. At The Warehouse high school youth group, find the support and Biblical truth that will provide clarity and direction. For we are God’s masterpiece.

The youth group has helped me grow so much in my relationship with God. I was very lonely growing up and being able to go somewhere where I'm loved really helped. Being able to have friends has helped me take big leaps in my faith. The amount of amazing experiences I've had is incredible. Getting to go to all these amazing places with amazing people has helped me grow in him. Youth group is the best place to go to when trying to find loving friends that love the same and only God.

The last two years of my life have been more focused on my daily time with God and learning about God. A lot of this growth is because of the youth group. The first time my parents asked if I wanted to go to youth group I said no. I didn't have any friends there, but because someone (Caleb Yost) I had just met invited me, I decided to give it a try. The youth group has been a positive impact in my life because the people there have accepted me. Youth group helps me learn about God, and God has used it to open my eyes to how I need him.
