Worship is at the very heart of what it means to be a Christ follower. It’s not the music, the sermon, the liturgy or any other item we might associate with the word itself. Rather, it’s the expression of the awe of God and the adoration of His son, Jesus connecting us to Himself by the power of the Holy Spirit. I experience this connection deeply through music. But music on it’s own is just another idol if we aren’t focused on the living Christ as we sing, play, clap, dance, paint, sculpt, expressing ourselves for His glory.
