THE JOURNEY SERMON SERIES

We are all on a spiritual journey.  This journey requires daily decisions about which path we will take. In the book Principle of the Path Andy Stanley says, "Direction, not intention, determines destination." If we live in Canton, and want to travel to Florida, we need travel in a southerly direction or we will not reach our destination. What's true geographically is also true relationally, financially, physically, vocationally, academically and spiritually.

Solomon says in Proverbs 14:12, "There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death."

Jesus said in Matthew 7 13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Jesus chose to walk the path of sacrificial love that took him to the cross on his way to resurrection life. Do you know what path you are on? Where is it leading? Do you need some course adjustments? Join us for this series as we take a closer look at the principle of the path.

THE ROAD NOT TRAVELED (last stanza)

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
