LENT 2019…

This year as we prepare for Easter we are calling you and your family to prayerfully participate in a special season of repentance for renewal. During Lent we will be seeking, sacrificing, and surrendering areas of our lives to Jesus through prayer, fasting, and meditating on Scripture. We have created this “Renew LENT Guide” with P.R.A.Y. Scripture passages, fasting suggestions, and prayers of repentance for us to all use together.

Just as we carefully prepare for big events in our personal lives, such as a wedding or commencement, Lent invites us to prepare our hearts for remembering Jesus’ passion and celebrating His resurrection. Please join our church family in making this time of preparation, repentance, and renewal a priority in your life.

Sunday sermons and weekly Scripture reading will guide us through the last seven days of Jesus’ life on earth. As we consider what happened each of those days we will see the great sacrifices He made to secure our destiny. We are praying that our sacrificial seeking will bring us new spiritual life as well.
