About:
It is our belief that single adults are important to God and have a vital part in building His kingdom. We believe that singleness is a viable lifestyle and that God can use our singleness for His glory.
Single Adult Ministry Purpose:
- To minister to the needs of single adults and encourage them in living the Christian single adult lifestyle.
- To help single adults grow in their relationship with Christ and others.
- To encourage ministry to others within the Single Adult Ministry, the congregation of First Friends, and our community.
Classes
Currently due to COVID-19, we are not meeting.
Date: Sunday mornings
Time: 9:00 am
Location: E-113
Description: We are a group of single adults (age 40+), who come together for prayer and for study of God’s word. Our focus is on Christ and on caring for one another in good and bad times. We take comfort in Paul’s words that as singles we’re better able to focus on how we can serve Christ. Whether content with singleness or not, you’re welcome to join us as we seek to follow Christ. We are always open to new participants. This Winter we will continue our study Journey of Faith based on Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
