We are creating a life legacy that will live on long after we are gone. The question is, what kind of legacy? We understand the importance of having a will to pass on an inheritance to our family, but what about a spiritual inheritance. What will we leave for the next generation?

 

In this "Legacy" sermon series I want to answer questions like what are God's purposes for the "family"? How does God use the role of parenting, or mentoring, to transform me into His image? What decisions do we need to make now that will determine the legacy our children inherit?

Deut. 6:6-9 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
