Faith In Action: Virtual Event

Normally, Faith In Action is an in-person event where we highlight a local ministry, including having speakers from the organization.  The purpose is to educate our women about what the organization does, raise awareness about needs in our community, and materially bless the organization.  Due to COVID-19, we have chosen to do a virtual event, rather than an in-person event, to benefit Hannah’s House 119.  Please watch this video to learn more about Hannah’s House 119.

Can you help with items to benefit Hannah's House 119?

Items can be brought to the church week days from 9am to 3pm or on Sunday mornings. We will have boxes in our main entrance and vestibule in which to place donations. Please drop off items no later than August 23rd.

Hannah’s House provides young women (grades 6-12) of Stark County with guidance, mentoring and life skills to lessen the odds of them falling into homelessness, sexual exploitation, gangs, early motherhood, joblessness or prison. They also offer a parenting program for young moms, as well as a girls club for their most at-risk and court referred girls, including sex trafficking victims.
