Student Work Days
Ever wish you could have your own personal team of workers for a
day? Now is the time! Our youth students are available to work, in small groups
of 3-4, on a donation basis on the following Saturdays: April 3 & 10 and
May 1 & 8.
Students are ready to work hard with the hope of raising money
for summer trips to North Carolina (6th graders), Boston (7th graders), Canton
(8th graders), and Arizona (High School). There are two different work shifts
for each Saturday: 9AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM. You can sign-up for students to do
work for one slot or both.
Jobs can include anything from cleaning to yard work, but the youth staff must approve all jobs. Sign up via the bulletin or email Chrissy Heade at cheade@firstfriends.org. All donation checks should be made payable to First Friends Church.
If you don't have any work for students, you can still support their
summer trips by sponsoring them to complete a number of hours of community
service at local ministries such as the Salvation Army or Refuge of Hope.
