Requirements: Bible
The first job God gave to Adam and Eve was to “rule” over His Creation (Genesis 1:26 & 28) and to “care” for it (Genesis 2:15). Although Christians routinely praise God for the wonderful works of His hands, we all too frequently fail to “steward” and “care” for His creation, or even to value it as He does. While many in the secular world preach environmental stewardship with fervor, the Church has been largely silent despite God’s original mandate to care for His works. This 7-week series will explore the topic of environmental stewardship from both Biblical and scientific perspectives.

Acts is a continuation of the writing of Luke where he connects what Jesus “began to do and teach” with the theme “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” We will see the working of the Holy Spirit and follow the lives of Paul and Peter.

When hard times come and God seems to deviate from the plan we assume our life should follow, we are more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It is then that we begin to press into our own ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. In this 7-session video study of 1 &2 Kings, join Lysa Terkeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God. In this study we will learn to: • Identify and challenge doubts in the one true God. • Explore how the Old Testament applies to our lives today. • Learn to trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God.

While you are seeking first God’s kingdom, they are seeking first to distract your focus and delay your work. In this 7 week video study we will learn to:
  • Set healthy boundaries to protect your life’s calling
  • Find refuge in God when you feel under attack
  • Discern when to walk away from a toxic situation
  • Keep a tender heart even in unhealthy relationships
  • Love and serve difficult people by resisting their control
  • Grow your inner strength and invest in reliable people.
