We will be going through a series by John and Lisa Bevere called “The Story of Marriage”. This series will focus on how God created marriage to express a much bigger story. His relentless, loving commitment to bring out the best in us. We will also go through a parenting series by Andy Stanley called “Parental Guidance Required”. In this series, Andy talks about how to enhance, advance and influence your children’s relationships.

We are a group of married couples with school-aged children. You are invited to join us this semester as we look at Becoming Us: Using the Enneagram to Create a Thriving, Gospel-Centered Marriage by Beth and Jeff McCord. The Enneagram is a way of categorizing the human psyche into 9 different personality types. Becoming Us pulls back the curtain on marriage and weaves the Enneagram through the lens of the Gospel to reveal why you and your spouse behave in different ways. Becoming Us will transform your marriage into the powerful relationship that God intended.

This group for parents of middle school and high school-aged children studies topics and issues faced by today’s parents and teens and how to handle them in a godly, biblically informed manner. This Winter we will do the following studies: Parenting by Paul Tripp presents a big-picture view of God’s plan for us as parents. Grace Based Discipline by Karis Kimmel Murray teaches parents how to positively respond to their kids. Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile uses enneagrams, a personality typing system, to learn why we are the way we are and how it affects relationships.

This Winter we will take a closer look at Psalm 23 via Matt Chandler’s Right Now Media study. Most of us are familiar with the 23rd Psalm, but that familiarity can cause us to overlook its deeper meanings. Join us as we examine it’s six verses and learn profound truths about our loving and protective God.
