Project 51 Missions Offering

“GO and TELL”

This October is missions month and we are very excited to celebrate all that God has done through the ministries of Canton First Friends – mission trips, outreaches, Community Fun Day, FFC missionaries and more. We truly believe that the opportunity to join God in His mission is an incredible gift.

Last year we raised over $65,000 dollars that went to four initiatives:

1. Pregnancy Choices with their mission to empower individuals to choose life. 
2. Canton Lighthouse with their need to strengthen their after-school ministry and the purchase of a new bus for student transportation.
3. Over four months of financial support to cover costs of Abba Christian Fostering Agency in San Palo, Brazil.
4. Community Fun Day – We were able to help provide funds for our 2018 Community Fun Day that reached 2,600 neighbors.

On October 28, we will once again have the opportunity to give to missions. The theme for this year’s Missions Month is “Go and Tell.” At First Friends Church we believe that evangelism is essential for all who proclaim Jesus as their Savior.  Because of this belief, we have chosen the following missional & evangelistic opportunities to support with our 2018 Project 51 Mission Offering:

1. The Legacy Project of Stark
2. Grace and Peace Fellowship in Barahona, Dominican Republic
3. 2019 Community Fun Day Outreach
