Church Arise: Get Ready for Opposition
Our next Baptism classes will be with Pastor Nathanael on Wednesday, November 3. Choose between two class times, 6-7pm or 7-8pm. This class is required before you are baptized. Baptisms will take place on Sunday, November 21. Contact Nancy Petroff at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
Trunk or Treat: Saturday, October 30, 3-5pm
If you’re interested in decorating your car trunk contact Tammy at email@example.com. The last day to reserve a spot is October 21.

Hospitals & Rehab
We still need 5 ushers (women can be ushers too), 8 greeters (or 4 couples), and 6 welcome desk greeters (or 3 couples) for our second service. Visit Theresa Maxin at a table in the hallway outside the Worship Center and she can help you become part of this amazing team!
Sunday Morning Experience Team Luncheon
Everyone who is serving and desiring to serve on Sunday Morning Teams is invited to a “Thankful Luncheon” on Sunday, November 14th at noon.
We are looking for an administrative assistant (10-12 hours/week) to work alongside the Connect Director. There are applications available at the Main Welcome Center or contact rfoote@ firstfriends.org if interested.
Do Your Kids Like to Sing?
Kids’ choirs have begun. Wednesday evenings at 6pm. 4yr olds – 1st grade meet in room E-122 with Miss Glenda. 2nd -5th grade meet in E-110 with Miss Tammy. All are welcome!

Faith in Action Christmas Brunch
We will be benefiting our sisters from Rahab Ministry of Canton Saturday, November 6 from 9am-noon. Bring a brunch item. Please see our website for a Sign-Up Genius link to donate items for Christmas gifts.
Join us on October 17 as Pastor Rusty Savage kicks off missions month. This year we are supporting EFM’s five year goal, called the Luke 10 Initiative. Our special mission offering will be on Sunday, November 7. College Age Luncheon
Join us Sunday, October 3 after second service from Noon-1pm for a free lunch. We guarantee it will be better than cafeteria food!

Solo Sisters Connect Group
For all single, divorced, or widowed women age 55+. Sunday mornings at 9am, beginning Oct. 17 in L-6. We will be applying Bible teaching, sharing in fellowship, and finding mutual support with one another who are in the same season of life.
