Nurseries

What is the purpose of the nursery?

The purpose of the nursery department is to provide a safe, loving, fun and comfortable environment for both you and your child.  To accomplish this our workers will walk, rock, read, feed and play with the children to insure that they are content. As we do this, we share the love of Jesus with our little ones.

The nursery department is made up of three rooms: Infants, Walkers, and Toddlers.

The nursery has implemented a 4 part security labels system that prevents anyone other than the parent from picking up the child.  Simply return the security stub to the nursery worker when picking up your child.

Parents will also receive a pager; if your child needs you during the service we will page you.

Infants

This room is for babies: birth to non-walking infants. Swings and cribs are used in this room and snacks are given with parents’ permission.  The staff to child ratio is 3 to 1.  When your child is walking you may move him/her up to the next room.

Walkers

This room is  for children that are walking to age 2. Snacks (pretzels and animal crackers) are provided in the room. Children are invited to play with age appropriate toys and watch Christian videos.  The staff to child ratio is 4 to 1. Children are promoted in September to move to the next age-level.
